Rachel’s Story
In this video:
The research internship I’m doing will help kids like my sister and others.
Thinking about my sister in her school day.
We like to listen to books on tape together and we both love music, although different types of music.
The deterioration is slow but you can still see it, so that’s kind of sad.
Having a sister with a severe neurological disease has definitely influenced me.
I do feel upset that I don’t have any privacy.
I don’t feel like I have to protect my mom from my feelings.
I don’t usually talk about Rachel with my friends.
The most challenging thing is that I can never plan anything.
You are not alone.
